Helos Delivered by DTI to AAF in 2009

Previous Mi-17 Sales
In 2009, DTI won the U.S. military competition to provide new Mi-17 aircraft to Afghanistan.  DTI delivered four new aircraft on budget and within schedule - just 46 days after contract award.   These were the first new Mi-17 aircraft ever received by the Afghans, and DTI's record setting delivery ensured the aircraft were available to support avalanche rescue operations in January 2010, and the Pakistan flood relief operation in summer 2010.

Current Mi-17 Inventory
DTI currently has two Mi-171E and four Mi-171 aircraft avaialbe for sale.  Not a broker, DTI is selling aircraft we own and we offer full factory warranty, spares and service. The Mi-171E aircraft are fully equipped with tail ramp, night vision compliant cockpit/exterior lighting, armor, fast rope capability and numerous other options.  This configuration has been recognized by the U.S. Department of State as being commercial in nature and thus not ITAR controlled.  DTI can deliver to any U.S. Department of Commerce Category B country in as little as two weeks.

Mi-17 Spare Parts
There are a number of methods to buy OEM certified parts, but there are also a number of pitfalls waiting for the inexperienced customer.  Oboronprom, the holding company of the Mi-17 manufacturing plants, has established a network of authorized suppliers of Mi-17 parts and services.  Furthermore, Mil and the IAC have certified distributors in Russia to provide Mi-17 parts.  Finally, a large number of parts, including the engines, APUs and fuel control systems are manufactured outside of Russia.  DTI knows the all manufacturers and suppliers, and has the relationships required to obtain the best prices and delivery dates.  As an established distributor of certified parts, DTI has become one of the primary suppliers of Mi-17 parts to the U.S. military.   See the attached link for catalog pricing on select items.
